Overview

Onduli Enclave, the exclusive private villa addition to Onduli Ridge, represents one of Namibia’s most extraordinary luxury wilderness experiences. Named after the resident giraffe of the area, Onduli embodies thoughtful environmental integration, refined design and complete immersion within the natural world. Positioned high against a south-facing granite outcrop, the Enclave commands breathtaking views across the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain, the dramatic granite inselbergs of Damaraland and the Doros Crater beyond.

Designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, every space within the villa has been carefully positioned to maximise the remarkable landscape, transforming bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces into uninterrupted viewpoints. Frameless glass stacking doors dissolve the boundaries between indoors and nature, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the wilderness while still enjoying complete comfort and privacy.

The villa features three fully climate-controlled super king suites, each with private decks, wood-fired hot tubs, shaded seating areas and the opportunity to roll beds outdoors beneath a blanket of stars. An interleading lounge and children’s room between two suites makes the Enclave particularly well suited to families or small private groups.

Every aspect of Onduli Enclave reflects exceptional attention to detail, from the private swimming pool, pizza boma and floating wooden walkways to the elegant shared lounge, dining room and interactive open-plan kitchen. A private chef, dedicated butler and expert naturalist guide ensure a highly personalised and enriching experience where world-class hospitality blends effortlessly with the surrounding wilderness.

Area

Onduli Enclave is located on a private concession within the Doro !Nawas Conservancy in the heart of Damaraland, approximately 20 minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein. This extraordinary landscape is characterised by rugged granite outcrops, folded hills, open plains and wooded river valleys within a largely semi-desert environment.

The retreat enjoys magnificent views of the Brandberg and the dramatic cathedral-like inselbergs that define this iconic region of Namibia. Geological attractions such as the Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and Doros Crater are all within easy reach.

Doro !Nawas, meaning “the place where rhinos roam” in Khoekhoegowab, is home to desert-adapted black rhino, elephant, giraffe and a variety of plains game, alongside predators such as cheetah, leopard, lion, spotted hyena and brown hyena. The region offers one of Namibia’s most immersive and visually striking wilderness experiences.
